This website
streamars.com is a static site. It uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Our network and security provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and block attacks, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie for that purpose.
Customer portal and billing
- Account: your email address, name, password (stored only as a hash) and sign-in sessions.
- Billing: company or personal name, billing address, VAT number, subscriptions and invoices. Card details are collected and held by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Email: we send messages needed for your account, such as verification, password reset and billing notices.
- Support: what you write to us, and our replies.
Licence checks from your panel
Your panel contacts our licence service when it is activated and at regular intervals afterwards. Each check sends:
- the licence and installation identifiers, and the installation's public key;
- the panel version and build details (version, operating system, architecture, a checksum of the program);
- a hashed hardware fingerprint of the server;
- usage counts: number of active lines, resellers, load-balancer servers and peak connections;
- the IP address the request comes from.
No subscriber data, usernames, passwords, viewer IP addresses, channel lists or content ever leave your panel.
We use this data to issue and renew licences, to detect copied or shared licences, and to deliver updates.
Your subscribers' data
The data in your panel, including your resellers' and subscribers' details, stays on your server. We have no access to it. You are its controller and responsible for handling it lawfully.
Why we may use it
- Contract: to run your account, subscriptions and licences.
- Legal obligation: to keep invoices and tax records, and to answer lawful requests.
- Legitimate interests: to keep our services secure, to prevent fraud, licence abuse and illegal use of the software, and to enforce our terms.
Who else processes it
- Stripe, for payments, invoices and tax calculation.
- Cloudflare, for content delivery and security.
- OVHcloud, which hosts our servers in the EU.
- An email delivery provider, for account and billing emails.
Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is open, and deleted after it is closed unless we must keep it.
- Invoices and billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Licence check records: as long as needed to operate the licence and detect misuse.
- Records about a breach of our terms: as long as needed to enforce them or defend claims.
Disclosure to authorities
We disclose personal data to courts, law enforcement, other authorities and rights holders only where the law requires or allows it, for example under a court order or to enforce our terms against illegal use.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to support@streamars.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in particular the one where you live or work.
