The rule
Use streamars only for content you own or are licensed to distribute. Piracy and unlicensed redistribution are strictly forbidden. We do not support, tolerate or help with them, in any form.
streamars provides, hosts and links to no channels, films, series, playlists or sources. We do not sell, recommend or broker content or content providers, and our support will not help you obtain or configure any.
What you may stream
- content you produced or own the rights to;
- channels, films and series you have a written licence to distribute, within the territory and terms of that licence;
- content whose owner has allowed redistribution, such as public broadcasts whose terms permit it;
- internal and private streaming of content you are entitled to show, such as in a hotel, campus or business.
What is forbidden
You may not use streamars, or let anyone use your panel, to:
- restream, rebroadcast or relay channels without the broadcaster's or rights holder's permission;
- sell or give away subscriptions, lines or playlists that include content you have no licence for;
- distribute films, series, sports events or recordings without the rights to them;
- bypass encryption, conditional access, DRM or geographic restrictions, or use card sharing;
- distribute content that is illegal in itself, including any material that sexually exploits children;
- hide the identity of a pirate service, or act as infrastructure for one operated by someone else;
- crack, bypass or share the streamars licence, or resell access to the software;
- attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system, or spread malware.
The fact that content is easy to find, that a source "already exists" or that other services offer it does not make it licensed.
Resellers and subscribers
You are responsible for every reseller, sub-reseller and subscriber on your panel. If one of them breaks this policy through your panel, it counts as your breach. Make your own terms with them at least as strict as these.
Enforcement
A breach of this policy ends your licence immediately, without notice and without refund.
- We revoke the licence, and the panel stops. Where we see abuse we can stop it at once, without a grace period.
- We close the account and refuse new accounts from the same business or person.
- We keep the records we need and pass them to rights holders and authorities where the law requires or allows it.
- We may claim the costs a breach causes us, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Reporting misuse
Rights holders, their agents and authorities can report a panel they believe runs on streamars tosupport@streamars.com. To let us act quickly, include:
- who you are and whom you represent;
- the works or channels concerned;
- where the panel can be reached: domain, IP address, sample URLs, and why you believe it runs streamars;
- evidence of the infringement, such as screenshots or recordings with dates;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that your report is accurate.
We review every complete report. We do not host the streams, so we cannot remove a single file or channel, but we can and do end the licence of a panel used for infringement. Court orders and requests from authorities are answered according to the law that applies to them.
What we can see
Your panel runs on your server, and it does not send us your content, your channel list or your subscribers' data. Its licence check sends technical data about the installation, described in thePrivacy Policy. We use that data, reports from third parties and public information to detect licence sharing and misuse.
